We concentrate on fishing at the T Lazy B and specialize in
fly-fishing float trips on the Madison River. We also provide
guide service to many other streams and rivers in the area. We keep our
operation small so we can provide a relaxed and private
atmosphere which we enjoy as much as our guests. Bob has been guiding
in the area since 1978. Our rivers and streams contain rainbow, brown, brook, and cutthroat
trout ranging in size from 10 inches to 21 inches with the average size
being 16 inches. Our excellent guides use McKenzie river boats. These
boats resemble a small dory and are known for their stability and
maneuverability.
Our maximum occupancy is ten people, so if you have 4-6 people
interested in this area you could have the ranch to yourselves.
Our season runs from late May to early October.
While our main attraction is fishing, the Madison Valley is some
of the most scenic country you will find anywhere. Guided
horseback trips can be arranged. Yellowstone National Park and
Lewis and Clark Caverns are fantastic day trips. Other
activities include hiking, photography, golf, movies, plays,
ghost towns, shops, and art galleries.
